Multi-awarded DZBB radio anchor Connie Sison shared what was going through her mind, when she made one of the biggest decisions in her life to become a Kapuso.

Multi-awarded TV and radio anchor Connie Sison reminisced about the first day she set foot inside GMA Network in 2007. Connie, who has been with GMA for the past 16 years, remembered that she was feeling some jitters then.

“That was in 2007… mga 2007 I think. First day ko sa Channel 7 para akong nangangalay uli, siyempre kasi feeling ko: 'My gosh! I'm the newbie'.” Connie recalled during her interview with Pia Arcangel for the 'Surprise Guest' podcast.

Despite the enormity of her decision of leaving ABS-CBN, the Kapuso news anchor believes that she made the right call and that she is happy to be part of the biggest television network in the country.

“Parang ganiyan 'di ba, so, nakaka-nerbyos. Pero you know, that's the best decision talaga. I believed talagang God also directed me as always 'di ba 'pag may transition. Natatakot tayo sa una, pero, actually God had other plans and better ones that we can ever imagine.”

“Hindi ko naman na-imagine dati na lilipat ako sa tagal ko na 'di ba sa Channel 2, but then, ito na nga 'yung plano ni God.

“And I've never been happier.”
