
South Korean idol Sandara Park has had a busy 2023. From the release of her self-titled EP to numerous successful music and guest appearances, the past year has been nothing short of thrilling for this multi-talented artist.
As she welcomed the new year, fans can't help but anticipate what exciting projects and ventures Sandara Park has in store for them.
Sandara starts 2024 with explosive performance at the 33rd Seoul Music Awards. She will join fellow K-pop idols such GOT7 members Youngjae and BamBam, Tiffany Young, NCT Dream, Kang Daniel in giving entertainment in the said event.
Dara, who is popularly known in the Philippines as Pambansang Krung Krung, is also planning to release her second album this year.
In 2023, she marked her return to the South Korean music scene with her first solo album in 14 years. The self-titled EP features the single "Festival," which samples Uhm Jung-hwa's 1999 song of the same name.
When asked about her next album, Dara planned to showcase a more mature and edgier concept on stage, hinting at a potential evolution in her musical style.
Of course, the 2NE1 star was also asked about a possible reunion with her co-members. Dara provided an update on the possibility of a comeback for her former girl group. While challenges get in the way, the ongoing discussions among Sandara, CL, Minzy, and Bom suggest that the dream of a 2NE1 comeback is still very much alive.
