Here's the latest news about the case against social media star and vlogger Toni Fowler.
Social media has been abuzz, after it was reported yesterday (January 19) that Pasay Regional Trial Court-Branch 108 ordered the arrest of content creator and actress Toni Fowler.

Based on the reports collated by Super Radyo DZBB and GMA News Online, the case stemmed from the complaint filed by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBP) against Fowler in September 2023 before the Pasay City Prosecutor's Office about her controversial music videos.
According to an interview with the KSMBP legal counsel Atty. Mark Tolentino, "freedom of expression" has its limitations.
"Kasi when you say freedom of press or freedom of expression, hindi absolute 'yan. May mga limitation ang freedom of press… the second limitation is Article 201 of the RPC. Ito 'yung nagbibigay ng mga obscene publication, indecent publication,”
Atty. Tolentino added, “Like in this case of Ms. Toni Fowler, may nagpakita siya, kumakanta siya ng mga bastos. Aside from the -- nagpakita din ng sex organs."
The court issued a warrant of arrest on Fowler on Friday for her alleged violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
GMA News Online also stated that Toni posted bail worth Php 120,000 on the same day according to the information provided by DZBB reporter Nimfa Ravelo.
