Love is definitely in the air as Sparkle GMA Artist Center launched two love teams that are sure to bring on the kilig this love month.

Sparkle teen stars Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento as well as Bryce Eusebio and Princess Aliyah were officially introduced as love teams at a recent event held at Citadines Roces in Quezon City.

In an interview with the entertainment press, the four Sparkle artists shared their reactions when they were told about their respective love teams.

For those who don't know, Marco, Ashley, Bryce, and Princess Aliyah were launched as part of the Sparkle Teens in April 2023.

According to Princess Aliyah, she was excited and happy to be paired with Bryce as he is one of her friends.

“Siyempre po na-excite and, at the same time, natutuwa ako kasi nung nalaman ko na 'yung ka-love team ko is someone that I know and friends kami, sobrang tuwang-tuwa ako kasi I can work with him very comfortably,” the former Royal Blood actress said.

Bryce, on the other hand, is full of gratitude to Sparkle for the wonderful opportunity as it will play a huge part in their showbiz careers.

He said, “I feel very thankful, lalo na sa management kasi hindi lahat nabibigyan ng ganitong opportunity and I know that this will be a big part of our careers din. We're very grateful po sa management.”

Meanwhile, Ashley is thankful and more excited to be working with Marco now that they have been launched as a love team.

“I felt really excited since si Marco, ang tagal ko na po siya nakakasama. Since sa Black Rider nagkaka-work naman na po kami, mas excited pa po ako since si Marco very hardworking siya na tao and masaya siya kasama sa trabaho. Magaan siya kasama talaga so I'm really happy,” she shared.

Prior to being launched as a love team, Marco and Ashley have been enjoying each other's company as they worked with each other in the full action series, Black Rider. Aside from this, the two have known each other for a long time.

“Sobrang excited din po ako and thankful po ako dahil na-acknowledge po kami ng GMA. Before po kami i-launch as a love team, may ginagampanan na po kami sa Black Rider. And during those tapings, talagang nag-enjoy po kami,” the former child actor shared.

He went on, “We enjoy each other's company and talagang naga-guide po namin 'yung isa't isa. So ngayon, mas maga-guide po namin [ang isa't isa] ngayong official love team na po kami.”

Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, Bryce Eusebio, and Princess Aliyah are also set to bring on the kilig as they are the stars of the first-ever Sparkle TikTok Kilig Series.

Marco and Ashley will star in Secret Notes, which will run from February 8 to 14, while Bryce and Princess will star in Beyond The Game on February 16 to 22.

Meanwhile, Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo will star in Mystery Girl on February 24 to 29.
