Summer is months away from February, but drag queen and RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World Philippine representative Marina Summers just brought up the heat with her latest music video for “AMAFILIPINA.”

Marina Summers lit up the night of February 11 when she finally released the full version of “AMAFILIPINA,” her rendition of Maymay Entrata's hit pop song, “Amakabogera.” Together with Marina, the song was written by Loriebelle Darunday, Elmar Jan Bolano, Justin Catalan, and Kumare Harvey.

Maymay hyped up the drag queen in her announcement post on Instagram about the release of the MV of “AMAFILIPINA.”

The song featured Marina's pride in being a morena who is ready to conquer the world, paying homage to her addition to the official lineup of the newest season of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World.

Not only was the music video a vocal showcase for Marina, but it was also an avenue for her to show her outstanding dance skills, which she first proved in her performances on the first season of Drag Race Philippines.

She also showed off her smokey and bold drag look with a custom phoenix corset by Jaz Cerezo with the theme “Rising from the ashes.” It was also the same corset she wore during her talent show in RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World.

“AMAFILIPINA” was also the song that Marina Summers performed during the talent show. Aside from lip-syncing and dancing to it, she leveled up her performance by adding poi-dance.

She was then hailed as the winner of the segment and the first to receive the RuPeter Badge in the season.

Aside from Maymay, Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, as well as other drag queens and Filipino celebrities showed support for Marina Summers.

Marina Summers is a Filipina drag queen who competed in the first season of Drag Race Philippines and currently represents the Philippines in RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World.
