Kapuso teen stars Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento were officially launched as one of the newest Sparkle love teams, alongside Bryce Eusebio and Princess Aliyah, or PrYce, at a recent event held at Citadines Roces in Quezon City.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Marco and Ashley, collectively known as AshCo, are thankful and excited to bring more happiness and kilig now that they are a love team.

“We're really excited po dahil natupad na 'yung mga gusto ng fans. Excited kami for them and excited kami na mag-spread ng more happiness and love,” the former child actress said.

Marco and Ashley also have heartfelt messages for their loving fans, thanking them for their unwavering support.

“Thank you so much po sa suporta n'yo kasi kung hindi po talaga dahil sa inyo, wala po kami ngayon dito,” Ashley expressed.

Marco added, “That's why we are very thankful po talaga. Wala po kami rito ngayon kung hindi dahil sa inyo. And ngayong na-launch na kami as official loveteam, we promise to do our best and, of course, share the kilig and ito na po 'yung hinihintay natin.”

Aside from this, the two teen stars also shared the qualities that they liked about each other. For Ashley, she likes Marco's smile and how dedicated he is when it comes to his craft as an actor.

“'Sabihin ko 'yung isa sa physical attributes, 'yung smile niya. And then 'yung dedication niya sa work, 'yung pagiging hardworking niya, and pagpu-pursue niya sa passion niya kasi very focused siya sa goal,” she shared.

Just like Ashley, Marco also likes the actress' smile as well as her laughter. The former child actor also likes how genuine Ashley is as a person.

Marco said, “'Yung smile niya talagang nakakahawa and 'yung tawa niya po, 'yun po talaga 'yung nakakahawa sa kanya. Nagbabago 'yung tawa niya.

"Sa personality niya, sobrang genuine niyang tao. And behind the smiles and tawa na we share with each other, mas may lalim sa personality niya.”

Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento currently star in the first story of the Sparkle TikTok Kilig Series, “Secret Notes,” which will run from February 8 to February 14.
