Dominic Roque breaks his silence about a couple of rumors involving him, which Cristy Fermin mentioned on her social media vlogs involving him.

The official statement says Dominic and his lawyers at Fernandez & Singson law offices "strongly condemn the malicious and defamatory public statements of Ms. Fermin under the guise of entertainment news without any effort from her to confirm the same from Mr. Dominic Roque."

The statement addressed the rumors insinuated by Fermin, claiming Roque has a politician benefactor who owns the condominium unit where he currently resides.

The statement also mentioned that social media users quickly picked up rumors, which led to speculation and uploading of Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos with Roque--without their knowledge or consent.

Dominic and his lawyers said there is no truth in the rumors and Mayor Jalosjos is a longtime friend of Roque, and he is leasing the unit owned by Mayor Jalosjos.

The statement also shares that Dominic is embarrassed by the rumors and apologizes to Mayor Jalosjos and his family for "being dragged into the public conversation because of the malicious defamatory public innuendos of Ms. Fermin."

Roque also clarified rumors linking him to Congressman Bong Suntay and denied being involved in any benefactor relationship. He also said he doesn't own any Clean Fuel gas station, and all Clean Fuel gas stations are company-owned.

He also ended controversy regarding his pre-nuptial agreement with Bea Alonzo and said they "never fought nor had a disagreement over a prenuptial agreement."

Dominic and actress Bea Alonzo were in a relationship since 2021. The pair got engaged in July 2023 and confirmed their breakup in January 2024.
