The stunning and empowered Sparkle 10 ladies are officially introduced to the press with their runway looks.

Faith Da Silva, Rabiya Mateo, Ashley Ortega, Lianne Valentin, Shuvee Etrata, Lexi Gonzales, Angel Guardian, Liezel Lopez, and Elle Villanueva walked the runway to showcase their sensuality, intelligence, and womanhood. They also described their passion for exploring their craft while celebrating their power as women.

The event happened earlier, March 5, in GMA Network studio 7.

Present at the event were the GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo, Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development, Chief Risk Officer, Head of Program Support Department Regie Bautista, and consultant for imaging and branding Lawrence Tan.

Launched during Women's Month, the Sparkle 10 showcases the beauty and empowering women of GMA Network.

Beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya delivered a brief speech representing the Sparkle 10.

Rabiya and the Sparkle 10 believe that being a part of their group is very important. They want to break the stereotype that women who are considered sexy can only be that - sexy. They believe that they can do many things, such as act, sing, dance, and host, and they want to showcase their skills to the world.

She said, "It's a big step for GMA to have women like these."

Rabiya emphasized the importance of representation for young girls, stating that they can be positive role models.

"Maraming manonood sa amin who will also feel confident about themselves kasi makikita ninyo were different, may individuality kami."
