Jake Ejercito to late actress Jaclyn Jose: “Tita, sana makabawi ako sa'yo through Eliie…”
Jake Ejercito became emotional when he delivered his eulogy for Andi Eigenmann's mom, Jaclyn Jose.
Jake recently reposted a video on his social media accounts that was taken during his speech at Jaclyn's wake.
In the said video, the actor recalled his memorable moments with the late actress and with his former partner, Andi, who happened to be the mother of his daughter.
Jake shared, “She would at times join Andi and I on our dates to the movies…
She'd always cook for me whenever I visited. We would bond over our love for Michael Jackson and interest in politics…”
“Nevertheless, I stil felt the need to impress Tita Jane, mas niligawan ko pa yata siya kaysa anak niya,” he added.
Jake also remembered how he and Jaclyn became close to each other through his past relationship with Andi.
“By God's grace, a few months later, that daughter of hers… became the mother of my daughter, Ellie, and… Tita Jane, the happiest,” he shared.
Jake added, “It's no secret that Andi and I had a lot of highs and lows and through it all, Tita Jane never wavered. In fact, the trials Andi and I faced brought me and Tita Jane even closer. Siya ang kausap ko kapag may problema. Siya ang kainuman ko kapag may mas malaking problema.”
Following that, he dedicated a personal message to his Tita Jane, and he also shared that he has so many regrets.
He emotionally said, “Tita if you're listening, Salamat sa lahat lahat. And I'm sorry napakabigat nito Tita. Nagpaalam ka na lang bigla.”
“Ang daming sana, sana naibalik pa natin kung paano tayo dati. Sana nahingan kita ng advice sa trabaho natin. Sana naka-eksena man lang kita. Sana napadalas pa sa'yo si Ellie, he continued.”
Jake added, “Sana kinamusta kita nung malungkot ka at nag-iisa. Tita, sana makabawi ako sa'yo through Eliie… Sana alam mo mahal din kita.”
