GMA Network, led by its President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., recently gave a warm reception to the courtesy call of Latin Media Corporation (LMC) CEO and Founder Jose Escalante.

A long-time key distribution partner of GMA Network, LMC is a renowned international company that acquires and distributes premium content from various countries, including the Philippines, for viewers in Latin America.

Also present during the courtesy visit were GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Legal, Human Resources Development, and Worldwide, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier-Cruz; Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo; and GMA Worldwide Officer-in-Charge Rochella S. Salvador.

In a program hosted by Sparkle GMA Artist Center's Martin Javier, LMC showcased the recently added Spanish-dubbed Kapuso shows in its current catalog: Broken Faith (Magkaagaw), Broken Promise (Apoy sa Langit), and My Husband's Lover.

Joining the event as well were the lead stars of the latest GMA programs acquired by LMC: First Lady of Primetime Sanya Lopez from "For Love or Money" ("Dahil sa Pag-Ibig"), Thea Tolentino from "Silent Shadow" ("Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko"), and Mikee Quintos from "Broken Promise" ("Apoy sa Langit").

Speaking about the Network's continuing ties with LMC, Mr. Duavit said, "It is partners like Latin Media (Corporation) that complement our efforts to further make our content accessible to markets and viewers abroad. We are very happy, very excited, and very grateful for the partnership."

“The Filipino series (and) the quality of programs have increased tremendously, the stories are more intense. I think it's just great to be able to have GMA productions for Latin America. (They are) good value, good stories, good productions, good actors--everything is good," said Mr. Escalante.
