"Ito na 'yung bunga ng hard work nila," saad ni Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo matapos mapanood sina Anthony Rosaldo, Thea Astley, at Garrett Bolden sa 'Rent' ng 9Works Theatrical.
Proud si Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo sa talents nila na sina Anthony Rosaldo, Thea Astley, at Garrett Bolden sa magandang ipinakita nila sa musical ng 9Works Theatrical na Rent.
Nagkaroon ng press preview ang Rent kagabi, April 18, sa Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium sa RCBC Plaza sa Makati City na dinaluhan ng ilang Sparkle executives.
"I was so overwhelmed. Actually, bago pa natin napanood 'to, we were already so happy nung pumasa sa auditions 'yung tatlo. Very hard working kasi sila, bukod sa talented," saad ni Ms. Joy sa GMANetwork.com.
"I was talking to the producer earlier, si Santi [Santamaria], he was telling me, it's the attitude more than the talent. Grabe daw ang hard work, grabe ang dedication and commitment nung tatlo - Garrett, Anthony, and Thea.
"Ito na 'yung bunga siguro ng hard work nila. Kanina nga, lahat kami sa Sparkle, we were like around 30 here, lahat kami walang ginagawa kung hindi umiyak at pumalakpak."
Para kay Anthony, na gumaganap bilang si Roger sa buong run ng Rent ngayong 2024, maipagmamalaki niyang may displina ang mga talent ng Sparkle.
"Kilala niya na ako, and kilala ko siya ever since nag-start ako sa GMA, alam niya kung paano ako magtrabaho, paano kami sa Sparkle, sa AOS [All-Out Sundays] mag-work. There's discipline talaga. We don't just work, we give everything with 100% passion, love, and every time there's an opportunity, hindi namin pinapalampas na ibigay 'yung best namin," saad niya.
Dagdag ni Garrett, ang gumaganap bilang si Tom Collins, "Sobrang thankful, sobrang thankful ko kasi nakikita nila 'yung effort ko kasi I really want to do this. This is something I really wanna do and pursue."
Pagtatapos ni Thea, na gumaganap bilang si Mimi, "They have always been so supportive. Sobrang saya ko lang knowing that I have that support system behind my back. I'm proud to carry the banner of Sparkle along with Kuya Garrett and Kuya Anthony in the theater world."
"I hope more Sparkle artists join us on this side."
