In his contract renewal signing, Dingdong Dantes vividly recalls the beginning of his career with GMA Network.
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes remains a loyal Kapuso, after renewing his contract with GMA Network, today, May 9.
Dingdong has been working with GMA Network for nearly three decades, starting as a young celebrity and rising to become one of the country's most successful and celebrated actors.
During the 'Dingdong Dantes Kapuso Day' event, Dingdong remembers the most important and unforgettable moments he shared with GMA.
“Ang isa talaga sa pinaka-memorable na tumatatak sa akin hanggang ngayon ay 'yung pinaka-unang beses na sumampa ako sa isang entablado ay 'yun ay noong nag-uumpisa ako bilang isang dancer at dito po 'yun nangyari sa GMA,” Dingdong recalled.
“Hindi ko siya makakalimutan because at 16 years old, hindi ko pa alam kung ano talagang gusto kong gawin sa buhay,” he added.
Dingdong then acknowledges GMA Network for giving him a platform to showcase his talent.
He said, “Kakaibang happiness, kakaibang joy 'yung naibigay sa akin no'n dahil meron akong stage to showcase my talent. Ang sarap pala ng pakiramdam na meron kang platform to do what you love.”
The Family Feud host also stated that the GMA Network has provided him with numerous opportunities, allowing him to become the brilliant actor he is today.
“Pagkatapos po no'n nagkaroon ng iba't ibang opportunities, nagbukas ang iba pang pinto sa television, nagbukas ang iba pang pinto sa movies, nagbukas ang iba pang pinto sa pagiging isang family man, ang dami pong mga pintuan at chapters na nagbukas,” Dingdong claimed.
In the latter part of his speech, Dingdong praised GMA for fulfilling his dreams and bringing his career into the next chapter.
Dingdong said, “Masasabi ko na dahil sa GMA naging klaro kung ano po ang pangarap ko sa buhay. Nandito po ako sa harapan ninyo fulfilling that dream everyday and now I have the opportunity - a renewed chapter to fulfill these dreams again everyday.
“I welcome this new opportunity and chapter wholeheartedly kaya maraming salamat sa muling pagtitiwala po ninyo.”
The Primetime King also thanked his fans and the Filipino audience who support him as an actor.
“More importantly mas masarap ang pakiramdam na nare-reciprocate 'yung happiness na 'yun ng mga manonood dahil naa-appreciate nila ang ginagawa ko,” he shared.
Dingdong also honors his wife Marian Rivera and their family for their support as he strives in his chosen field. At this point, Dingdong added, “We thank our family here in GMA because truly ang GMA po ay ang aming tahanan.”
As Dingdong Dantes begins this new chapter with GMA Network, he is ready to continue making significant contributions to the industry and inspire audiences for years to come.
