
Jennylyn Mercado has returned to the recording studio for her upcoming album.
The Kapuso star teased her new album with a photo of a mic in a studio on her latest Instagram post.
"A song from the heart. Malapit niyo na marinig mga bessie," Jennylyn wrote in her caption.
The versatile artist also penned her excitement for her upcoming record.
"Excited na ako to share my new album with you!" she said.
A few days ago, Jennylyn also posted photos of her songwriting session with singer-songwriter and producer Jonathan Manalo.
"Para sa inyo ito mga bessie... abangan niyo ha! Malapit na yan!" Jennylyn said.

In April, Jennylyn shared a photo of her inside a recording studio and said that "[s]omething special is brewing in the studio."
Meanwhile, Jennylyn sang "Lisan," the theme song of Love. Die. Repeat., which she also topbilled with Xian Lim.
In 2016, Jennylyn released her album, "Jen's Gems", which featured the songs "If I'm Not in Love with You," "After All," and "Moments of Love," among others.
