It's just a little over two weeks until the Miss Supranational coronation night on July 6 (Poland time) and the Philippine representative, Alethea Ambrosio, is now in Poland to begin her campaign.
In one of the more recent posts on her personal Instagram account, Alethea posted a couple of photos of her at the Krakow Airport, wearing a dress from designer Martin Uy. In the caption to the post, Alethea simply wrote “Touchdown Poland”.
Alethea flew to Poland a day before, writing in an Instagram post that her pageant journey has been “a whirlwind of emotions” but now she is ready to “showcase the beauty, strength, and resilience of the Filipina spirit.”
Before her departure to Poland, Alethea was revealed as the second delegate advancing to the semi-finals of the pageant's Miss Influencer Opportunity. In one of the more recent posts on the Miss Supranational Instagram account, the pageant announced that Alethea joins the other representatives from Venezuela, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Cote d'Ivoire.
Former Miss Supranational Philippines Pauline Amelinckx and 2013 Miss Supranational Mutya Datul expressed their support for Alethea through emojis in the comments section of the post.
Alethea was the winner of last year's The Miss Philippines pageant, making her the country's representative to the Miss Supranational pageant.
Alethea has been hard at work for the Miss Supranational pageant, revealing back in March that she was taking part in The Canvas' pasarela training academy. The Canvas was established by Miss Universe Philippines 2023 first runner-up CJ Opiaza.
Alethea is looking to perform better than the first Miss Philippines and Miss Supranational 2023 first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx.
Should Alethea win the 2024 Miss Supranational pageant, she would be the second Filipina to bring home the crown after Mutya Datul first won it back in 2013.
