BLACKPINK Jennie

Jennie is officially on TikTok!

BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) are currently celebrating as Jennie officially joins popular social media platform TikTok.

Just days ago, the K-pop star launched her account under the username "jennierubyjane." On June 19, she made her debut on the platform with her first TikTok video. The video showed Jennie striking charming poses to the beat of her debut solo song "Solo," with a simple caption of "Hi" to greet her followers.

In less than 24 hours, Jennie's debut video amassed an impressive 25 million views and 6.9 million likes. Her account quickly garnered 4.8 million followers, all from her first post alone.

Fans were taken by surprise by the sudden post, with many expressing disbelief that the account was real. Nonetheless, they eagerly celebrated and expressed excitement for Jennie's other upcoming content.

Jennie's TikTok debut follows her fellow BLACKPINK member LISA, who also joined the platform on June 6.

Previously, Jennie delighted fans with collaborations, including with K-pop star Zico in his single "SPOT!" and American rapper and singer Matt Champion in "Slow Motion." She also graced the prestigious 2024 Met Gala, teasing a forthcoming album and other projects in the pipeline.

Jennie is a member of globally acclaimed K-pop group BLACKPINK alongside LISA, Rosé, and Jisoo. The group made their debut with the song "BOOMBAYAH" and has since released iconic hits such as "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Kill This Love," "Pink Venom," and "Shut Down."

She launched her own label Odd Atelier in November 2023, marking a new chapter after parting ways with YG Entertainment for her solo endeavors.
