Will Ken Chan and Jillian Ward walk on the GMA Gala red carpet together?
Kapuso stars are now preparing for the highly anticipated GMA Gala 2024. Some are already attending fittings, confirming dates with their partners, and reviewing design sketches from their chosen designers.
In a previous media conference for the Sparkle World Tour 2024, Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward shared her preparations for the gala. She mentioned she has received sketches for her gown but hasn't finalized her plans yet.
"Wala pa po akong plans for the Gala, pero may sketches na po ko ng mga damit. Pero 'yung mismong plans po like may ka-date po ba, ano susuotin ko po, parang wala pa po," Jillian said.
Her Abot-Kamay na Pangarap co-star, Ken Chan, also expressed his excitement about attending the prestigious event.
Will they walk on the red carpet together this time?
Ken responded, "You know what, maglakad kami together o hindi man sa red carpet, most of the time kami ni Jillian magkasama sa loob."
Ken added that he wants Jillian to shine on her own, recognizing her efforts in preparing for the event.
"Sometimes gusto ko bigyan kasi siya ng moment, si Jillian. I think it's her moment na maglakad sa red carpet. Kasi, grabe na-witness ko kasi kung paano pinaghahandaan ni Jillian 'yung sa hair and 'yung sa damit niya. Talagang siya lang gumagawa at nag-iisip nu'n. Gusto ko makita 'yun ng mga tao, na siya 'yung focus, sa kaniya, that's her moment. Siguro sa loob, doon ko siya sasamahan," he said.
Ken then joked about reuniting with Jillian inside to play or "babysit" the young actress.
Jillian revealed that Ken always takes care of her during their events together.
"Actually po, siya po 'yung nagbabantay sa akin kahit anong event. Last Gala, noong Sparkle's event," she said.
Aside from the GMA Gala, both stars are preparing for the upcoming Sparkle Goes to Japan tour on September 1, alongside fellow Sparkle stars Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Betong, and special guest Ms. Divine Daldal.
