Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista remains a loyal and proud Kapuso.

On July 29, 2024, Heart renewed the contract with GMA Network. The event was featured via livestreaming on GMA Network's Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.

Heart's contract signing showed her 16 years of loyalty as a Kapuso star.

During her thank-you speech, Heart Evangelista could not stop her tears from rolling down her face, as she recalled the highs and lows of her career. She is extra thankful to her fans who stuck by her even during the times she didn't feel that she was at her best. She said, "I truly appreciate you for growing with me."

Present at the event were GMA Network's President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Felipe S. Yalong; Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable; Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; and Vice President for Entertainment Group's Musical Variety Formats, Specials and Alternative Productions, and Heart Evangelista's Manager, Ms. Gigi S. Lara.

Also part of Heart's contract renewal with GMA Network are Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development and Concurrent Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Program Support, Ms. Regie C. Bautista; Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Sales and Marketing Group, Ms. Lizelle G. Maralag; Senior Vice President for Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Mr. Oliver B. Amoroso; and the Senior Vice President for GMA Pictures Ms. Nessa Valdellon.

Heart Evangelista did not miss the chance to express her gratitude to GMA Network for supporting her career as an actress, host, endorser, visual artist, and fashion icon.

In her speech, she said, "I look forward to many things because with GMA they are open to new things and collaborating with you. So, the next few years will be colorful, in fact, I feel like even more colorful with the projects that I will be working with them of course.”

“I didn't really prepare a script because I didn't know what to expect today, but I would like to take this opportunity , I will try to make it as short as possible. I just want to thank everybody here, because naiiyak ako, sorry…

“Because they were with me really through the hardest times. Like when I moved to GMA, I didn't know what to offer. They say my bosses here say that I bring so much you know life or all the praises that they would say to today. But when they accepted me and they gave me one of my biggest contracts, I haven't proven anything.

“And I'm very-very grateful, I think I have gone far, because I've always been grateful for the people that helped me when I had nothing. So, maraming, maraming salamat! Every single one of you here, to my bosses sa taping, thank you so much, because talagang you were really there for me. I learned so much from all of you.”

“What I have today, is really truly because of the people who I started with. So, maraming, maraming salamat. The good and the bad, I'm so, so grateful. I am who I am, because of all of you here today. And I would never forget that.

“Whatever I have, I would like to bring back here, because this is where I feel like I truly began being myself, because, honest truth, it is very rare to be with people that would not just give you roles, but will actually allow you to celebrate the biggest role, which is being myself.

“And not just by being myself, but, they actually gave me wings that I can do whatever I want. So thank you so much to GMA. I am thankful to all of you, it's the other way around. Thank you!”
