Richard Gomez on Juliana: “Congratulations 'day!”
Leyte 4th District Congressman Richard Gomez is beaming with pride as he shared on social media that his daughter Juliana Ma. Beatrice T. Gomez has graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines.
Richard posted a short video highlight of Juliana's graduation on Instagram. He then went on to congratulate his unica hija, “I vividly remember your first day in school as a young child. I drove you to your school near the house, you were in a white shirt and jeans in rubber shoes.”
He added, “Look at you now all grown up and a college graduate in Public Administration at the UP Diliman and a Cum Laude. Congratulations 'day!
“Mom and I are so proud of you. Mom was in tears going up the stage. My eyes were in tears too when I went back to my seat as things sank into my head and realized how time flies so fast.
“Go on and make things better and beautiful.”
Several celebrities also sent their congratulatory messages to Juliana, including Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Bench founder Ben Chan.

The daughter of Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez also defended her epee individual throne in the UAAP Season 86 Women's Fencing competition last March.
In 2022, Juliana won the gold medal in the West Java Fencing Challenge in Bogor, Indonesia.
