Dolly de Leon, Chai Fonacier, and Meryll Soriano join Dennis Trillo in the upcoming series 'Severino: The First Serial Killer.'
An incredible roster of female stars joins Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo in the upcoming series Severino: The First Serial Killer.
Award-winning actresses Dolly de Leon, Chai Fonacier, and Meryll Soriano are set to join him in the project which is to be directed by Yam Laranas (The Road, The Echo).
On his Instagram account, Dennis shared photos of himself with Meryll, Chai, Dolly, and Yam.
"#SEVERINO #yamlaranas," his caption read.
Severino tells the story of Juan Severino Mallari, a priest who was regarded as the first serial killer in the Philippines.
Dennis will play the titular character, while Deadline reports that Dolly will play his mother who he believes is cursed.
He goes on a killing spree in an attempt to lift the curse and cure her condition.
As of now, no details have emerged about the roles that Chai and Meryll will play.
Severino is from producer-distributor CreaZion Studios with a script written by Dodo Dayao (Cattleya Killer), Rona Co (Hello, Love, Goodbye), and Rody Vera (Die Beautiful).
