
K-pop idol Jeonghan of SEVENTEEN will begin his military enlistment this month, after his label PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed it via a statement this Thursday, September 12.

Korean entertainment site Soompi shared some details of Jeonghan's enlistment and because of this development, he will not be participating in the promotions of SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album and world tour.
PLEDIS Entertainment also requested fans and supporters not to visit the site of the military service.
Here's the full statement provided by Soompi,
"Hello.
"This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
“We wish to share the news of Jeonghan's upcoming enlistment in the military, scheduled for September 26, 2024. As announced before, he will not be able to take part in the promotional activities for SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album and the world tour. However, he will appear in various pre-recorded content.
"There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly request that you refrain from visiting the site of his military service. Please send your heartfelt messages of support for Jeonghan through Weverse.
"We ask for your continued love and support for the artist. Kindly send your best wishes for his safe and healthy return. We will also remain committed to providing Jeonghan with all the necessary support during this time.
"Thank you."
Last January, SEVENTEEN held a successful two-day concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
Aside from Jeonghan, the K-pop boy group consist of 12 other members namely: S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, the8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.
