Regal Entertainment CEO Roselle Monteverde promises to continue late Mother Lily's legacy.

Regal Entertainment celebrates over 60 years of cinematic excellence in a star-studded gathering called "Regal Legacy" at the 38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City on Saturday, September 21

It commemorated Regal's success and honored its late founder, Lily Monteverde, well-known as Mother Lily.

Lily's children, president and chief executive officer Roselle Monteverde, and movie producer Ronald “Dondon” Monteverde warmly welcomed guests. Roselle's son and executive Vice President, Keith Monteverde also joined the dazzling celebration.

"I am delighted to have my friends here in showbiz, especially the artists who have supported us for many years. On behalf of Regal Entertainment and my siblings, my brother Dondon, my sister Sherida, and Goldwin Monteverde, we have strongly decided to carry on, not just in words but also in action, the legacy of Mother Lily," Roselle expressed.

She highlighted her mother's enduring impact, "We cannot just see go-away seeds planted since she became a housewife in the entertainment industry more than 60 years ago."

Roselle added, "We will uphold moving forward as great as what was planted to continue the legacy of Mother Lily. We are here because we love what we do. We are here because we want to grow and live in this industry, our life."

In a generous gesture, Regal announced a PhP1 million donation to the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (MOWELFUND), underscoring their commitment to the industry Mother Lily cherished. The evening also included exciting news about three upcoming films: Guilty Pleasure, My Future You, and Untold, which were among Mother Lily's last approved projects before her passing in August.

The event buzzed with energy as stars like Lovi Poe and Jodi Sta. Maria mingled among the crowd. Kapuso star Lianne Valentin dazzled, representing the upcoming horror film Untold. Pepito Manaloto star Mosang was also spotted in the event for her film My Future You, and chinito hottie Dustin Yu for Guilty Pleasure.

Reflecting on the event's success, Roselle shared her joy in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, "Siyempre, overwhelming ako sa tuwa na nadito mga supporters natin ever since so just goes to show na alive ang movies industry natin. It's only for Regal, but it's for everyone," she expressed.
