Aside from his concert tour with ex-wife Sharon Cuneta, Gabby Concepcion is looking forward to his upcoming project with GMA-7.
Fans of TV-movie actor Gabby Concepcion and Megastar Sharon Cuneta are raring to see them for a series of concerts scheduled from October to November in the USA and Canada.
The ex-couple will visit California and Nevada in America for their Dear Heart tour. Pinoy fans in Canada will also get a chance to see them in their shows in Ontario and Manitoba.
Gabby shared his thoughts on why working with Sharon is a special one during an interview at the media conference for the Gabay Guro Gathering event this Wednesday, September 25.
“Oh! We make a lot of people happy because marami kami followers. In fact, yung Sharon Gabby Exclusive they are still there.
“Maraming din mga wala naman sa grupo but they are there, 'yung mga kaibigan namin, 'yung mga nakikilala namin, 'yung mga nakikita ko sa Instagram, 'yung mga sumasagot sa amin sa Instagram. Ang daming mga gusto kami makita, gusto kami mag-show.” the First Lady actor stressed.
Gabby added that doing these series of shows is also a way for them to give back to their avid supporters, who are still there after so many years.
“Yung generation kasi namin, they are at that age na maraming nagre-retire na, made na sila or naging successful na sila and they are still around.”
“So, ngayon na nalaman nila meron kaming gagawin, parang na-excite sila. And ako naman ang feeling ko sa ganun is I remember my father saying, wala naman ginawa yung mga fans mo sa'yo ba't mahal ka nila.
“So, what do you do to give back? Wala ka naman puwede gawin, but to be there. Just be there! Be there for them when you have a show. Just be there to show yourself, because they like to see you.”
Aside from the Dear Heart US and Canada tour, Gabby also hinted a new TV project. He was last seen on GMA via GMA Prime series My Guardian Alien, which ended last June 2024.
“Meron kaming dapat gagawin nitong November, kaya lang meron kaming show sa Amerika kaya hindi siya matutuloy. Pero ang alam ko imo-move ng January [2025]. So, nag-leave of absence ako sa GMA and January gagawin na namin.”
Gabby also expressed his confidence to GMANetwork.com that this new project will be another quality one and he can't wait to attend their story conference soon.
“That is why my story conference to see kung okay 'yung story para sa'yo and I'm looking forward to that. Sa history ng relationship ko with GMA wala pa naman ako na natatanggihan na project, kasi magaganda naman projects ng GMA, which I am very confident itong darating na project would be nice.”

Gabay Guro Grand Gathering
Before the seasoned actor flies to the US and Canada, Gabby will attend to the annual “Gabay Guro Gathering” happening this Saturday at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City.
Now on its 17th year, the event will feature several big names in the showbiz industry and will be a day filled with grand performances, which is a special tribute to our hard working teachers.

This afternoon, members of the press got the chance to interview Gabby and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid who will be part of the star-studded occasion.
Also performing in the Gabay Guro Gathering are All-Out Sunday star Mark Bautista, Pops Fernandez, Martin Nievera, Sharon Cuneta and many more.
According to Gabby, as much as possible, he wants to be part of this kind initiative by Gabay Guro.
He explained, “Every year yan basta wala akong trabaho, walang taping nandidiyan ako kapag tumawag ang Gabay Guro.
“Can't say no, parang naging automatic na 'yun kung may gusto kang serbisyong gawin, you don't have to be a politician. Just be there as a support sa mga ginagawa ng Gabay Guro.”
The Kapuso actor also pointed out that teachers are close to his heart, since his late mother Maria Lourdes Arellano is a teacher, too. She passed away at the age of 79 in 2020.
“I told you that my mom kasi is a teacher. Very close ako sa mga teachers pagka dating sa mga events ng Gabay Guro, kasi ang feeling ko parang nasa bahay lang ako. Naalala ko 'yung mother ko.
“Pagkasama ko na 'yung mga teachers on stage, parang feeling ko maski hindi mo sila kilala parang meron silang relationship as 'yo," he ended.
