'Pulang Araw,' 'The Voice Generations,' 'Magpakailanman,' and other shows also received recognitions at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.

It's another grand celebration for GMA Network as several Kapuso stars and shows were included in the list of national winners at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.

Starting in the comedy category, Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento won as Best Comedy program in the Philippines. Along with the prestigious title, the program's main character, Michael V., earned the Best Actor in a Comedy Role.

The Voice Generations won as the Best Adaptation of an Existing Program (Non-Scripted Format) while iBilib was recognized as Best Children's Program. In the same category of games and entertainment, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes was hailed as the Philippines' Best Entertainment Host for Family Feud.

In the category for Best Single Drama, Telemovie, or Anthology Episode, Magpakailanman: Forevermore took the winning spot in the Philippines. On the other hand, in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category, Kapuso star Kokoy De Santos made it to the list for his exemplary performance in his heavy drama movie, Your Mother's Son.

Other than that, Best Promo or Trailer was won by GMA's current historical hit drama Pulang Araw. Noontime program It's Showtime also won as Best General Entertainment Programme in the Philippines.

GMA Pictures and Public Affairs proved outstanding talent as well, making it in the national winners list of the event. The Best Documentary Programme (one-off) was earned by Reporters Notebook for their "Ipiw's School Chair" documentary. Likewise, 24 Oras won Best News/Current Affairs Programme while Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho earned the Best Infotainment Programme. Then, Biyahe ni Drew won recognition as Best Lifestyle Programme; and GMA's Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 award-winning film, Firefly, won as Best Screenplay by Angeli Atienza.

All winners of the awarding will be their country's representatives at the prestigious Grand Awards and Gala Final to be held in December in Singapore.
