Edith Millare and Sandro Muhlach

Sandro Muhlach's mother, Edith Millare addresses the hateful comments her son receives from bashers.

Recently, Sandro Muhlach received a pleasant surprise from his mother, Edith Millare, who flew in from New York to the Philippines. Edith wanted to reunite with her son, knowing how much he needed support and care from his family while breaking his silence over an alleged sexual abuse incident by independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.

In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Edith reflected on her reaction to the news of her son's situation. She confessed, "Hindi ako umiyak, nagwala ako.

Initially, she struggled to understand why her son had to endure such a traumatic experience. Like any mother, Edith found it hard to accept that Sandro had been hurt by men he once trusted.

She expressed her anguish, "'Yung masakit doon, tatanong mo, 'Bakit siya? Bakit siya? Very trusting 'yung pagkatao niya, e.' But with God's grace, I think mas pipiliin kong isipin kung paano namin iyon maayos.

Edith also revealed her hurt over the hate comments Sandro continuously receives from online bashers, who claim he fabricated his story for fame. Mali, e. Maling mali iyon. Iyon ang gusto ko sabihin sa lahat," she said.

"Everyday was a struggle for him.

Edith clarified that Sandro chooses to be happy most of the time to help him overcome his trauma. Pero I don't think so. Kailangan niya ng continuous therapy at nangyayari iyan hanggang ngayon," she explained.

At the end of their conversation, Edith delivered a reminder to all the bashers who sent negative comments to Sandro.

"Be mindful of what you say. Pagdasal n'yo muna kasi it couldn't help someone who has been in a trauma tapos dadagdagan n'yo pa ng bashing. I think the value of cheering who you love instead of bashing who you hate.
