Kathryn Bernardo became candid when she admitted that she felt pressured as she portrayed the role of Joy once again in Hello, Love, Again.

Joy was working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper in the first movie Hello, Love, Goodbye. Now, she is in Canada to work as a nurse.

"I didn't expect Hello, Love, Goodbye to be that big naman talaga, hindi naman po talaga kami nag-expect," Kathryn said on her interview with Tito Boy Abunda in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Hello, Love, Goodbye was the top-grossing Filipino movie for years before Rewind, starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, surpassed it early this year.

Kathryn added, "But, grabe lang siguro 'yung, hindi naman nila sinasabi sa akin but I can feel the pressure, pero tina-try ko talagang hindi isipin 'yung pressure na 'yun with this project."

"Iniisip ko siya na I have to do it as a woman because it's me representing the OFWs but this time in Canada. It's me representing Joy and Marie at the same time, na ano naman si Marie this time?

"When I was reading the script, sobra akong naka-relate, so I guess, ganun din 'yung mararamdaman nila when they watch this. It's very real, the pain, the happiness, the journey of the characters. Medyo relateable talaga, I want to be part of that."

Hello, Love, Again continues the story of Ethan and Joy as they reunite in Canada, five years after they first met in Hong Kong.

In Hello, Love, Goodbye, Ethan and Joy met in Hong Kong as struggling OFWs. Unfortunately, their romance didn't blossom as Joy chose to pursue her dream in Canada as a nurse.

Hello, Love, Again will be shown exclusively in cinemas worldwide on November 13, 2024.
