Green Bones cast watching official trailer


Catch the inspirational drama movie 'Green Bones' starring Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid, in cinemas starting December 25.

GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs' official 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Green Bones just unveiled its much awaited and captivating full movie trailer.

The big reveal happened during the film's media day with its all-star cast Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid, Alessandra de Rossi, Wendell Ramos, Michael de Mesa, Ronnie Lazaro, Royce Cabrera, Sienna Stevens, Sofia Pablo, Pauline Mendoza, and Iza Calzado.

Together with them was the powerhouse team behind the creative film. Present were director Zig Dulay, National Artist Ricky Lee, MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza, and GMA Public Affairs' senior manager JC Rubio.

The trailer captivated the viewers, thanks to its cinematography and interesting plot. The characters of Dennis and Ruru, Domingo Zamora and Xavier Gonzaga, were further introduced as the trailer showed glimpses of their mysterious and emotional scenes.

The trailer also featured its main theme song "Nyebe" from Kings of P-pop SB19.

Green Bones was produced by GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment.

Adding more excitement, GMA Pictures has also signed official contracts with Columbia Pictures for Sony Pictures Releasing International.

The film follows the story of Dennis Trillo's character, a person deprived of liberty (PDL) accused of murdering his own sister and niece. Ruru Madrid takes on the role of a newly assigned prison guard, who made a promise to himself that he will keep Dennis Trillo's character behind bars whatever it takes.

Green Bones will be released at the 50th MMFF, showing on cinemas this December 25.
