Princess Galarpe Marcial, the wife of Olympic boxer and medalist Eumir Marcial, expresses her concern about her and her family's safety, as well as the potential witnesses against Eumir following her revelation about the athlete's alleged infidelity and abuse against her.

On Friday, January 10, Princess exposed Eumir on his alleged affair with a woman named Jessa, who they caught in a Pasay condominium.

She also revealed that Eumir built a new home in Zamboanga using all their savings where he now lives with his “young mistress.”

According to Princess, she decided to share her story because she was concerned about her safety for multiple reasons.

“As some of you may also know, I have been Eumir's brand manager for the longest time, sacrificing my career to help build his. With this, I have also received active threats from Eumir saying he will ensure that I can no longer step in America nor get anything from our separation,” said Princess.

She added, “A bigger part of the reason why I'm making this information public is because I'm seriously concerned about my safety, the safety of my family, and the potential witnesses of this case against Eumir. It is not a secret that Eumir, being a well-recognized athlete, has also gained support and protection from his connections who are very much capable of influencing the outcome of this case.”

Princess said Eumir might “fabricate lies to fit their narrative” and “potentially discredit” her experiences, but she encouraged people to “focus on the facts” and base judgments on the evidence.

Despite “all the trauma, manipulation, emotional stress, physical abuse, and psychological torment,” Princess noted that it is important for her to speak up in behalf of the women who share experiences with her.

“This is also why I feel strongly about my intention to share this truth to the public, a truth that not only represents me but so many women who have had to deal with their abusive husbands, and who may have felt silenced or powerless to defend themselves,” Princess wrote online.
