Actress and singer Vina Morales paid tribute to the Queen of Philippine Cinema Gloria Romero: “Thank you for inspiring all of us in the industry and for touching the hearts of your fans throughout the years.”
Vina Morales honored the late showbiz icon and veteran star Gloria Romero in a heartfelt tribute on social media.
In an Instagram post, the Cruz vs. Cruz star shared a video from Gloria's tribute in 2024, where the former sang "Ikaw" on stage. Along with this, Vina penned a touching message in honor of the TV and film icon.
“Ang nag-iisang 'Ikaw'--our Movie Queen, an Icon, Tita Gloria Romero. I had the privilege of working with Tita on the screen and also it was such an honor to sing at her tribute last February 2024 directed by Mr. M. The love and respect inside the ballroom that night were overwhelming, a testament to her incredible legacy,” she wrote.
She then expressed her gratitude and love to the late actress, saying, “Tita Glo, you will be deeply missed. Lalo na ng kapatid ko si @shaina_magdayao.Thank you for inspiring all of us in the industry and for touching the hearts of your fans throughout the years. Mahal po namin kayo, Tita.”
Gloria Romero passed away on January 25 at the age of 91. Tributes from celebrities and personalities have poured in since the confirmation of the sad news.
