Fans can expect another year filled with music and love as Over October hints at fresh music and exciting projects in the works!
During an interview, band members Josh Buizon, Josh Lua, and Joric Canlas enthusiastically shared updates about their plans in the OPM industry.
"We're recording again so music will be coming again soon. We just released an album last October. We're working on new tracks so we're excited for new music this year," lead vocalist Josh Buizon revealed. "Because of the songs we released, we get to play in areas not just in Metro Manila. (So) hopefully not just in the Philippines as well. We're excited for that."
As for collaborations, the band teased potential projects with fellow OPM artists. However, for now, they're keeping details under wraps. "Secret muna," they said with a smile, encouraging fans to stay tuned for surprises.
Over October's upcoming release holds special significance as it will be their first since Josh Buizon's automobile accident last December. The life-threatening incident left the artist with a fractured wrist, lung injuries, sprains, and multiple bruises.
"A lot of health challenges this 2025 but then I think it's just a sign from God na good things are coming after that," Josh reflected. While showing the scars on his wrist and stomach, he reassured that he's recovering well.
In the meantime, Over October remains active in the local music scene with iconic performances in several events.
Recently, they also graced the launch of The Official Philippines Chart to celebrate a major milestone for the OPM industry.
"We're happy to be here. Maraming-maraming salamat sa nag-invite sa amin. We're excited to see the performers as well and we're happy to just be able to walk the red carpet," Josh shared alongside his bandmates.
