Oscars 2025 winners and performances

Here's a full list of the Oscars 2025 winners and performances.

The 97th Academy Awards ceremony or The Oscars took place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Sean Baker's dramatic comedy Anora emerged as the biggest winner at the 97th Academy Awards, securing five awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress for lead Mikey Madison.

Marking his debut as the Oscars host, Conan O'Brien led the Oscars ceremony, which concluded an awards season preceded by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in January. The disaster left a lasting impact on the city and the film industry, affecting many in the community.

The event opened with a heartfelt montage of film clips honoring the city, concluding with the message “We Love LA.” This was followed by a mesmerizing performance from Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

BLACKPINK's Lisa made history at the Oscars, becoming the first K-pop artist to perform at the event.

Lisa captivated the audience with a powerful performance of "Live and Let Die" from the James Bond film of the same name. Preceding her performance, American actor Margaret Qualley delivered a brief tango routine as part of a tribute to the iconic 007 franchise.

American rapper Doja Cat delivered a dynamic performance of "Diamonds Are Forever", followed by British singer-songwriter Raye's soulful rendition of "Skyfall". Though each artist took the stage individually, they came together at the end of the segment to acknowledge the audience in a unified moment.

Oscar nominee Queen Latifah lit up the stage with a high-energy performance of "Ease on Down the Road" from The Wiz, paying tribute to the legendary Quincy Jones, who passed away in November at the age of 91.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale joined the Academy Orchestra for a moving performance of "Mozart's Requiem" during the In Memoriam segment.

Morgan Freeman introduced the tribute with a heartfelt remembrance of actor Gene Hackman, who passed away last week at the age of 95. "I had the pleasure of working with Gene on two films, Unforgiven and Under Suspicion, and like everyone who ever shared a scene with him, I learned he was a generous performer and a man whose gifts elevated everyone's work," Freeman said.

The segment also honored other film legends lost over the past year, including Maggie Smith, Gena Rowlands, Dabney Coleman, Bob Newhart, Kris Kristofferson, Teri Garr, Donald Sutherland, Louis Gossett Jr., Shelley Duvall, David Lynch, and James Earl Jones.
