GMA Network continues to shine brightly, winning prestigious awards locally and internationally in 2025.

From its talented Kapuso stars to the incredible team behind the scenes, the network has shown unwavering dedication and inspiration across various fields.

Adding to its growing list of accolades, a group of Kapuso journalists and media professionals were recognized at the 2025 Lasallian Scholarum Awards for their outstanding contributions to the industry.

The awards ceremony was held at the Verdure, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, at De La Salle University, where several Kapuso figures were honored.

GMA News Online's Giselle Ombay received the Outstanding Online Feature Story on Youth and Education award for her article, "The Cost of Miseducation."

Additionally, GMA Integrated News' digital documentary DigiDokyu's "Silid-aklatan sa Lansangan", created by Lilian Tiburcio and Jenica Villanueva, was recognized as the Outstanding Video Feature Story on Youth and Education.

Lastly, GMA Pictures' Firefly, the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture winner, earned the Outstanding Film Feature on Youth and Education award.

The Lasallian Scholarum Awards, a flagship program of De La Salle University, celebrates the outstanding media coverage of Filipino youth and education issues by the national media and campus press.
