Dennis Trillo won an award for his role in GMA's 'Pulang Araw.'
Dennis Trillo added another accolade to his name as he was awarded Best Drama Supporting Actor at the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television.
The Kapuso Drama King shared on Instagram a photo of his trophy, which recognizes his portrayal of Colonel Yuta Saitoh in GMA's historical drama series Pulang Araw.
Dennis expressed his gratitude for his latest award and said his role in Pulang Araw was among the hardest he has portrayed.
"Isa sa mga pinakamahirap na papel na aking ginampanan, maraming salamat po sa pagkilala na ito. Malaking bagay para sa akin na ang aming trabaho'y inyong napapansin," Dennis mused.
The versatile actor also thanked PMPC, GMA Network, and all those who continue to believe in him.
"Maraming salamat sa PMPC at sa lahat ng mga bumubuo nito. Sa GMA 7 na walang sawang nagbibigay ng trabaho sa akin simula 2002, maraming salamat po sa tiwala," he said.
"At sa lahat ng mga naniniwala, para sa inyo at dahil sa inyo ito
Taos puso ang pasasalamat ko," Dennis added.
In 2024, Dennis took home the Best Actor award at the Metro Manila Film Festival for the award-winning film Green Bones.
