eraserheads announces concert at combo on the run end credits

The Eraserheads announced their upcoming concert in May titled 'Eraserheads: Electric Fun Music Festival' in the end credits of the band's documentary film, 'Combo On The Run.'

Fans and moviegoers who stayed until the end credits for Eraserheads's documentary film Combo On The Run were treated to an electrifying surprise: an announcement of an upcoming concert that promises to be even bigger than their last one.

Aptly titled "Eraserheads: Electric Fun Music Festival", the outdoor event will take place at SMDC Festival Grounds in Pasay City on May 31, 2025. While details remain under wraps, early bird tickets go on sale exclusively via PalawanPay starting March 24, 2025.

Adding fuel to the excitement, the iconic Filipino rock band also teased a brand-new song in the end credits, sparking speculation about an upcoming release in the future. If confirmed, this would mark Eraserheads's first new material in over a decade, following 2014's “Sabado” and “1995,” which were later reissued on limited-edition vinyl with exclusive remixes in 2021.

Due to insistent and persistent public demand, Eraserheads: Combo On The Run is extending another week in the cinemas after receiving glowing reviews from its early screenings from March 21-23. The docu-film is showing in more than 150 theaters nationwide.

The Eraserheads made a surprise performance on the first day of the theatrical release of the film last Friday, March 21, in Gateway Mall Cinema 5. The band delivered an intimate live show for the unsuspecting audience with a six-set song, performing some of their biggest hits.

Directed by Diane Ventura, Eraserheads: Combo On The Run features an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Ang Huling El Bimbo reunion concert of 2022, and rare footage and never-before-seen interviews of the multi-awarded band.

The film is the first Philippine documentary to be screened in Dolby Atmos. It is produced by DVent Pictures and WEU, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
