Versatile TV-movie star Gabby Concepcion will again showcase his acting prowess via the new afternoon drama My Father's Wife.

Gabby has previously made a mark in the afternoon lineup when he acted alongside Sunshine Dizon and Ryza Cenon in the high-rating serye Ika-6 Na Utos, which aired from 2016 to 2018.

Talking about his new soap, he told 24 Oras, “Another beautiful project once again with GMA, medyo matagal na rin ako na hindi nakagawa after the concert.

“This is a very exciting project. Magaganda 'yung storya ng bawat characters and again this is a different project, hindi katulad ng mga nagawa natin noon.”

“Mayroong mga twist din siya siyempre na aabangan na lang natin 'pag napanood natin.”

Making this series a lot more exciting is the fact that it will be a reunion with his former leading lady Snooky Serna, whom he last worked with in 1993.

“Snooky was very supportive then and she is still very supportive now. In fact, napapanood ko minsan 'yung vlog niya. Natutuwa nga ako kay Snooky dahil meron na siyang vlog.

“Looking forward working with you, Snooky. Maganda pa rin si Snooky, hindi 'yan nagbago In fact, gumaganda nga siya every time na nakikita ko siya.”

Aside from Snooky, the other cast members of My Father's Wife include Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, Sue Prado, Maureen Larrazabal, Andre Paras, and Arlene Muhlach.

In her chat with 24 Oras, Kylie shared that she wants to see how Kazel will portray her role in My Father's Wife.

“I'm looking forward to her performance, kasi sabi niya kanina first time niya gumawa ng ganitong klaseng character. So, excited ako makita kung ano gagawin niya, na-pressure lalo! [laughs]”

Kazel replied to Kylie saying, “Grabe naman! Hindi ko in-expect 'yung sagot mo. Ako excited siyempre mang-api.”
