"It's great. I'm with our producers on Hulu, so it's wonderful here. I'm working with a fantastic cast. All of them are great. I love them all. We've just been here for a week, but we've already started work. We've been working for a week already. And our director, Jonathan Levine, he's so supportive, he's such a great captain of the ship. And our writer Rachel Shukert. It's wonderful and I'm gonna be here for six months so it's gonna be a totally new and exciting journey for me because I've never been away from home for this long," Dolly said.
The official summary of Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 was shared by Variety, “Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.”
In the first season, Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Yao was also part of the cast with Dolly.
The new season of Nine Perfect Strangers will debut on May 21 with two new episodes weekly.
The season 1 of Nine Perfect Strangers, based on the bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty, premiered on Hulu in 2021. A second season was officially announced in 2023.
