Regine Tolentino, despite being a mom for over a decade now, still gets surprised with the different facets of motherhood.

For one, she recently learned that her two daughters Reigen and Reigne are more conservative than she is.

“They’re a little bit more conservative than I am. I try to say, ‘hey, that’s a cute skirt,’ and they’re like ‘mom, it’s too short,’” she fondly shared.

Also, she was thrilled to find out that they’re growing up to be responsible young women. Now fourteen and fifteen years old, her daughters’ decisions make her proud.

“Ako [honestly sinasabi ko] minsan, ‘maybe you should just take the day off [from school, but they’ll say], ‘but I’m not sick and I have homework,’” she added.

Even more, at very young ages, they have also developed money conscientiousness.

“Ganun din sila when they’re shopping. I’ll be like ‘let’s [shop] and buy you some outfits’ and they’re like ‘it’s okay, I’ll just save the money [because] I’m saving up for something,’” Regine disclosed.

The actress, host and businesswoman is relieved and feels blessed that her children are on the right track.

“I super appreciate that they turned out to be like that,” she declared.
