Sam Concepcion talked about working with Sparkle artists Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara in the upcoming revenge drama series 'Beauty Empire.'
Sam Concepcion is set to star in his first-ever show on GMA.
Having been in the industry since the early 2000, the talented 32-year-old actor-singer marks his acting debut in the Kapuso Network, starring in the upcoming revenge drama series Beauty Empire.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com. Sam talked about his experience working with GMA for the first time.
He said, "It feels amazing, it is my first show here on GMA and everyone has been so welcoming and so helpful. It's been such a good time, collaborating, working on and off set. It's been a great experience with the cast pati na sa production. I'm really, really looking forward to it. So far, it's been a breeze and I couldn't be prouder of this project."
Beauty Empire is a GMA Public Affairs production based on the original concept by CreaZion Studios, and a Viu Original series.
Discussing what sparked his interest in this project, Sam gladly said, "The whole partnership is such a good one. I just feel super proud to be part of this, pushing boundaries, creating new content--a lot of people will love quality content that we could all love and enjoy. Do'n siya naiiba, it's in the storytelling. It's in the way it looks, it's in the actors. Altogether, it creates a beautiful piece na magugustuhan ng maraming tao."
Additionally, Sam feels over the moon to be working with Sparkle artists Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara in Beauty Empire.
He noted, "They're very talented actors. Ultimately, that's all you wish for in a scene partner sa mga castmates mo, and best case scenario talaga is to have talented actors, thinking actors, just lovely human beings and good people, and we get that here on set."
Also joining the cast of Beauty Empire are Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Ruffa Gutierrez, Choi Bo-min, Sid Lucero, and Chai Fonacier.
The collaboration series was made official during a contract signing between GMA, Viu, and CreaZion Studios held last March 17 at GMA Network Studios.
Beauty Empire airs from Monday to Thursday, beginning July 7, 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime. It will also have a delayed telecast on GTV at 11:25 p.m.
