"I always make sure I come back stronger."
Ahtisa Manalo proved this during the highly anticipated pageant night of Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
Many expressed concern when the beauty queen suddenly tripped on stage during the evening gown portion. But instead of panicking, Ahtisa gracefully laughed it off and elegantly got back on her feet.
As if the moment fueled her determination, Ahtisa received the crown as the new Miss Universe Philippines.
"I'm very happy, but I'm also overwhelmed. Parang hindi pa nagsi-sink in masyado sa akin," she said. "Finally, I'm so happy. Thank you for all the support and love. I really felt it all throughout.”
Looking back at the iconic moment, Ahtisa admitted everything happened in a blur.
"Hindi ko nga alam eh. I think I'm still on adrenaline. I don't know kung ano, kamusta 'yung paa ko. But laban lang,” she shared.
Ahtisa's claim to the crown became even more solid as she embraced her 'fell off stage' moment and lived it as a testimony to her resilience and dreams.
“I fell a while ago on stage. And the thing with me is, whenever I fall in life, I always make sure I come back stronger. Last year, I was here on the stage, and for the second time this year, I'm here, putting everything on the stage to be Miss Universe Philippines,” she shared during the Q&A portion.
In the end, Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025. Kapuso star Winwyn Marquez was placed as First Runner-Up, while Yllana Marie Aduana was Second Runner-Up. Chelsea Fernandez received the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines 2025, while Gabrielle Carvalho was crowned Miss Eco International Philippines 2025, and Katrina Llegado as Miss Supranational Philippines 2025.
The dazzling coronation night was hosted by Gabbi Garcia and Xian Lim, with Bianca Umali serving as one of the judges.
