'TILT' would mark IRENE & SEULGI's first comeback since their debut in 2020.
Red Velvet - IRENE & SEULGI are officially making their comeback this May, the sub-unit announced on Wednesday, May 7, on their social media accounts.
Irene and Seulgi are set to release their second mini-album TILT on May 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (KST).
This would mark the sub-unit's first comeback since their debut in 2020 with the mini-album MONSTER, with a title track of the same name.
The uploaded 28-second brand film showed black and white clips of Irene and Seulgi that captured their stunning yet mysterious looks for this comeback. It was mixed with montages of red objects being destroyed, which showed the intensity of the sub-unit's new album.

According to Korean news site NAVER, Irene and Seulgi's upcoming mini-album contains six tracks with “various atmospheres,” and a title track of the same name, “TILT.”
“In particular, TILT is an album that contains the message that the more you waver, the more you shine and grow in the process of breaking the established framework and reversing perspectives,” it added.

Aside from their upcoming mini-album, Irene and Seulgi are gearing up for their "2025 IRENE & SEULGI Concert Tour [BALANCE] in ASIA," slated from June to September.
The sub-unit is set to perform in Korea, Singapore, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Japan.
They also visited the Philippines in September 2024 with Red Velvet co-members Wendy, Joy, and Yeri for the group's “Happiness: My Dear, Reveluv FanCon Tour.”
