Watch 'Ang Leon at Ang Daga' (1975) on 'FPJ Sa GMA' this Sunday on GMA.
This Sunday, FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of The King of Philippine Movies, Fernando Poe Jr., into the spotlight.
FPJ Sa GMA will feature the 1975 film Ang Leon at And Daga, which also starred former child actor Niño Muhlach.
The movie centers on Nanding, a streetwise pickpocket with a rough exterior but a surprisingly kind heart. Alongside his comic and loyal companion Ponso, Nanding lives a life on the margins, surviving through petty crimes. Their world is turned upside down when they cross paths with Pikoy, a precocious and lovable young boy, who unexpectedly attaches himself to the duo.
