Bea Alonzo reveals she is working on a new TV series with GMA.
After a one-year hiatus from television work, Bea Alonzo revealed that she is set to return to TV this 2026.
“I'm going back to TV after a year of hiatus. I'm going to start doing a soap, very, very soon, still with GMA,” she shared in an interview with the members of the press during her brand endorsement event.
The Kapuso actress was introduced as the face of jewelry store My Diamond's new White Halo collection on Thursday, February 5, at the brand's SM Aura branch in Taguig City.
Bea, however, did not reveal any details about her new project, but she described her new role as “brave,” and the series is very relevant today.
“It's something really brave. It's something I've never done before because…let me say it's very timely sa pinagdadaanan ng bansa natin,” she said.
Her last TV series was Widows' War, which aired on GMA from July 2024 to January 2025. She starred in the series alongside Carla Abellana.
