Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards has been active in show business for over a decade.
His career in the entertainment industry started in modeling until he clinched his first drama role in GMA Network's afternoon soap 'Alakdana' in 2011.
He then appeared on various programs, which helped him hone his acting skills. Alden has also ventured from hosting and music recording to endorsing multiple brands, being an ambassador, and a businessman.
Alden has also garnered multiple awards and recognitions throughout his career, including the Asian Star Prize award in the 2019 Seoul International Drama Awards, Best Actor in 2015 PMPC Star Awards for Television for his portrayal of Jose Rizal in the docudrama 'Ilustrado,' and Best Actor in a TV series for 'The Gift' at the GEMS (Guild of Educators, Mentors, and Students) Awards 2019. He is also a recipient of Ani ng Dangal 2020 conferred by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA).
As a recording artist, Alden has released four albums, including his self-titled album, “Say It Again,” “Until I See You Again,” and “Wish I May,” which received an 8x Platinum award in 2016.
To commemorate his 10th showbiz anniversary in 2020, one of GMA Network's brightest stars prepared a virtual reality concert titled "Alden's Reality."
