The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) has announced the nominees for their annual FAMAS Awards on December 6.
One of the most anticipated awards is for Best Actor and this year's nominees is a good mix of newbies and established actors in the industry.
Among the nominees is Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards who is vying for Best Actor for his role in the mega blockbuster film 'Hello, Love, Goodbye.'
He has previously won Phenomenal Star of Philippine Cinema and Film Actor of the Year at the 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards for his role in the film.
'Hello, Love, Goodbye' is also nominated for three other awards, including Best Actress for leading lady Kathryn Bernardo.
The 2020 FAMAS Awards will be held on December 20 in a digital ceremony which will be streamed via various social media platforms.
