Newbie Kapuso Anna Vicente may be another pretty face in showbiz, but this 22-year-old beauty is set to prove to the industry that she's more than just looks.
Ever since she was a child, her biggest dream is to become an artist and she was able to achieve it through taking countless auditions and go-sees.
"Ako talaga 'yong nagpipilit sa mom ko na samahan ako sa mga auditions and go-sees. It's more of a passion kasi. Feel ko to be a celebrity is not just being a celebrity eh. It's to portray different roles na doon mo makikilala lalo 'yong sarili mo," Anna said in an interview with GMA News Online's cover story titled 'Girls of Summer.'
Born on July 9, 1998, Anna got his baptism of fire in showbiz when she was 12, playing the role of young Claudine Barretto in the 2010 drama movie 'In Your Eyes,' topbilled by the latter, Anne Curtis, and Richard Gutierrez.
From then on, the mestiza actress bagged roles from such movies as 'Inday Wanda,' 'Shake, Rattle, and Roll 12,' 'Aswang,' 'My Rebound Girl,' and GMA Films's hit teen comedy film 'Tween Academy: Class of 2012.'
Anna has also appeared on the small screen, playing minor roles in series like GMA's 'Magkaagaw,' 'Magpakailanman,' and 'Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit.'
Anna also starred as the main antagonist in the GMA drama 'Ang Dalawang Ikaw,' topbilled by Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.
