Sanya Lopez or Shaira Lenn Osuna Roberto in real life is one of the most talented, hardworking, and beautiful Kapuso actresses of her generation.
At 14, Sanya got her first big break in showbiz when she was discovered by the late starmaker and host German "Kuya Germs" Moreno on the set of 'Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman' where her brother, Jak Roberto was a mainstay. In an interview, Lopez narrated how fans mistook her for actress Kim Rodriguez who was also on the said show. Since then, Moreno has included her in the program as one of his co-hosts. This kickstarted her career and launched her into stardom.
In 2015, she starred in one of her first acting roles in 'The Half Sisters.' The following year, she starred as Danaya in the 2016 remake of 'Encantadia,' a role that later catapulted her to stardom. Sanya's next TV projects saw her taking on the lead female roles in 'Haplos' (2017) and 'Cain at Abel' (2018) and 'Dahil sa Pag-ibig' (2019).
In 2019, Sanya was awarded Most Promising Female at the Alta Media Icon Awards and New Movie Actress at the PMPC Award for Movies.
The pandemic did not stop Sanya from doing more in her craft. In 2020, she nabbed the lead role in 'First Yaya' and 'Agimat ng Agila.' She also starred in 'First Lady,' the sequel to the much-loved primetime series. She currently plays Hara Urduja in 'Mga Lihim ni Urduja.'
