Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera recently made waves online as news broke out that she would be part of the panel of judges at the 70th Miss Universe pageant this year.
In a virtual interview before she went to Israel, Marian revealed that she was chosen by the production less than a month ago, and was vetted by the Miss Universe Organization before asking her to be part of the selection committee.
“Minsan lang ito dumating at bakit hindi ko tatanggapin? Mahirap iwan ang mga anak ko pero naniniwala ako na balang araw ay maiintindihan nila kung gaano ka-importante ito,” she said.
Aside from Marian, many Filipino celebrities and personalities have once judged the prestigious pageant.
