The Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, known for his remarkable voice and expertise in acting, attended the launch of H&M’s latest collection along with other famous personalities in the Philippines. H&M's Conscious Collection is "proof that fashion can be created with more sustainable materials
, using fabrics such as hemp, organic linen, and organic leather to create pieces of great individual style."
Each piece in the collection is special, whether it’s the pilot jacket in Tencel®, reverse-like jacquard fabric with threads intentionally left loose, or the organic silk tuxedo blazer with sleeves slashed to the elbow to create a dramatic effect. Meanwhile, a sleeveless cocktail dress has a print inspired by Japanese ink-wash painting, and is made from organic hemp, organic silk and organic cotton.
H&M also aims to inform their customers of their garment collecting project as one of their ways to help the environment. Customers can bring in their garments in H&M in exchange for a voucher. The garments can be damaged or be very old, as fabrics can be recovered. In return for the donations of the customers (maximum of two bags per day), they will receive "15% off 1 item of your choice" discount voucher.
