Get to know Korean actor-singer Lee Seung-gi

Lee Seung-gi is one of the most well-known Korean actors of his generation. Known as South Korea's "Triple Threat," he is an exceptional actor, singer, and television host.
He was born on January 13, 1987 in Dobong District, South Korea. While growing up, Lee Seung-gi was a good student, performing well in academics, sports, and arts. He was the lead vocalist of a band he formed in high school while also consistently being part of the student council. It was during his band days that he was scouted by singer Lee Sun-hee after seeing him perform. He graduated from Dongguk University with a degree in International Trade with two master's degrees and even acquired a Child Psychiatry Counselling Certificate while filming for Little Forest.
He has numerous hit songs as a singer such as "Because You're My Woman," "Will You Marry Me," "Return," and "The Ordinary Man." In television hosting, he has been part of variety shows '1 Night 2 Days,' 'Master in the House,' and a host of talk show 'Strong Heart,' and reality show 'Produce 48' among other shows.
