What Filipino trait is he most proud of?

Filipino-Swiss professional car racer Marlon Stockinger has been living in Europe for eight years now to fulfill his ultimate dream of becoming an elite member of the Formula One racing team.
In a report in 24 Oras, the Formula One Junior driver revealed during his recent visit in the Philippines that he’s proud of his beginnings.
“Home is of course where I grew up [at] dito ‘yun sa Pinas talaga. Lahat ng mga talent ko came from here. Sometimes it gets annoying lang if people say ‘But you’re not from here,’ but I am, you know. Mukha lang [hindi].”
Marlon is the only Filipino to win a Formula One race in Europe, and he is proud to raise the flag in his international competitions.
The 24-year-old race car driver said it’s the Filipino fighting spirit he’s most proud of, “Galing sa Pinoy side ko, it’s really the fighting spirit. Kahit we’re the underdogs, we’ll still fight as if we’re [going] to win the race.”
He has met a lot of Filipinos around the globe and noticed a common quality, “I think [it’s] definite in almost every Filipino [that] you have that sense of adaptability, that you can put us anywhere in the world and somehow we’ll find a way and succeed.”
Since the celebrity-athlete is half Swiss, he also mentioned how Europeans deal with certain situations. He shared,“’Pag sa European side naman, it’s parang the cool confidence like whatever’s [going] to happen, and if there’s an earthquake, we’ll manage to find a way too.”
Marlon had a quick trip in the Philippines to showcase his driving skills through a Lotus race car and a jeepney which he both drove around Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last June 27 (Saturday).
In his recent competition in Austria, the Filipino-Swiss driver placed 6th which is an important prerequisite to enter the GP3 Series in September.
