Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil have split up, Ogie Diaz says

Ogie Diaz said Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil have broken up, citing anonymous sources.
In a vlog published on his YouTube channel last May 30, Liza's former talent manager said the speculations might have come from the actress's previous interviews and statements.
“Actually, nakarating din sa'kin 'yan na split na o break na si Enrique Gil at Liza Soberano. Parang nag-ugat ito doon sa mga pronouncement o 'yung mga naging statements o 'yung mga nakaraang interviews ni Liza, never niyang binanggit si Enrique Gil,” Ogie said in the video.
Ogie added that Liza's lack of online greeting for Enrique during his birthday further strengthened the break-up speculations of fans.
According to Ogie, it was Liza's choice to end the relationship to put focus on her career abroad.
“Hindi ko alam kung pareho nilang gusto 'yon pero ang nakarating sa atin ay choice ni Liza na tutukan muna ang kanyang career programming,” he said.
Ogie continued, “Ang nakarating sa atin, si Enrique 'yung nagpu-push pa na baka kaya pa, na baka posible pa ring maituloy.”
Despite this, Ogie pointed out that the reports have not been confirmed by either party yet.
“Hindi natin alam kung ano 'yung rason ng kanilang split up. Pero wala pa namang announcement so 'yun ang ating aabangan,” he said.
But Ogie said he wishes the reports aren't true, “Sana hindi totoo na hiwalay na sila. Sana kung meron mang gap or meron mang 'di pagkakaunawaan… mapatch-up,” he said.
He added that if the reports are indeed true, he is among those saddened by the split.
“Kung totoo man 'to, isa ako sa mga nalungkot… kasi I'm rooting for both of them na ang ending nila kasal. Kasi alam ko kung gaano kamahal ni Quen si Liza, ganoon din naman si Liza kay Quen.”
Neither Liza nor Enrique has commented on the reports yet, as of writing.
